• PhD Computer Science — working with Ralf Herbrich on probabilistic machine learning at Hasso Plattner Institute.
• Research Associate — developed computational methods for analyzing cuttlefish chromatophore behavior in Gilles Laurent's group at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research.
• Msc Mathematics — studied mathematics with a focus on probability theory and statistics; worked on statistical analysis of ungulate sleep behavior with Gaby Schneider at Goethe University.
